During her work as a freelance illustrator, she created numerous works for a wide variety of fields.

Coming from fashion illustration, she initially worked for fashion companies and magazines in the field of ​​fashion and lifestyle illustration.

Inspired by children and picture books, she began to illustrate stories, which were published by various children's book publishers in Germany.   

Kerstin Kubalek is a member of AUTILLUS, the Swiss association for children and young people's books.
